E' una displasia scheletrica caratterizzata da punteggiatura che interessa sacro, coccige e le epifisi delle ossa lunghe; sono presenti metacarpi corti. Vi è micromelia, femore curvo, platispondilia, schisi vertebrale.
E' descritta una trasmissione di tipo autosomico recessivo.
La diagnosi prenatale può essere sospettata nelle famiglie a rischio.
Prognosi: Letale.
